With line drawings suitable for coloring, the book gives brief explanations of Ash Wednesday, Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday, and Easter Sunday. Jesus' love is emphasized, while the sadness of Jesus' death is acknowledged. The Easter pages express the joy of Christ rising! The book ends with a few suggestions for helping little ones feel the importance of the season.
