Homeschooling parents who want to get organized will appreciate A Garden Patch. Written by a homeschooling mom, A Garden Patch has a plethora of forms for homeschooling, home, and devotional use. The categories and a sampling of the forms included are shown below:

  • Portfolio Planners and Organizers -- front and spine inserts for portfolio notebooks, weekly and yearly planners, yearly overviews, field trip planning log, unit study forms, to do and chore lists, monthly menu and shopping list, babysitting check list, high school planning charts.
  • Calendars and Schedules -- weekly, monthly, and yearly calendars
  • Miscellaneous Reports and Worksheets -- state and country reports, book reports, science reports, newspaper story, play and friendly letter forms, song sheet with blank staff, field trip questionnaire
  • History Time Lines -- cover pages and inside pages for timeline book, history, famous person/event, and presidential fact sheets
  • Evaluations, Report Cards, and Awards -- evaluation sheets for music, P.E., volunteer work, part-time job, and end of year, progress reports, report cards for high school, certificate of promotion, achievement awards and sticker charts.
  • Life Notebooks -- cover page for the notebook, prayer log, Bible study and scripture memory planning sheet, memory verse cards.

Recommendation: The program is easy to use with a simple menu system. Most pages allow you to fill in the blanks with typing and then click the print icon when you are ready. "Partial print" pages do not allow as much input as the other pages.
